Our new field book covers are now available. They are constructed of heavy duty orange material with ANSI reflective stripping sewn over the top. Inside is a card holder, pouches for writing utensils, cord for marking pages and a velcro pouch. The book cover is designed for Rite in the Rain, Ellan & Sokkia survey books. These are the field books typically used by environmental professionals, geologists, drillers, surveyors and other field personnel. We have posted a video on YouTube:
We now have a demo on YouTube.com showing the ease of use of the Well Bullet created by use here at groundwater Innovations. The Well Bullet was designed for rapidly attaching LDPE, HDPE or teflon tubing typically used for sampling groundwater monitoring wells, micro wells installed with direct push technology (GeoProbes) and open bodies of water. The tubing is quickly secured in place as far as the users wants from the tubing intake. Unlike water sampling weights on the market, the samples DOES NOT pass through the sampling device. The sampling device is constructed of 304 stainless steel by hand here in the USA. The edges are rounded to prevent hang ups in the water wells. We also make 1 pound weights to attach over the top of the locking device to add additional weight to get the tubing intake down quicker for wells over 100′ or during colder days, helps keep the down hole tubing straighter.
The windmills produced by OutDoor Water Solutions in conjunction with the 2 inch Buffalo Air Pump have proven effective at providing 5 gpm from groundwater wells. And we are now preparing the 30% tax credit packet free of charge to be filed with your next years taxes with purchase of system.
We are now in the test stages of marrying up the Buffalo Air Pumps with new windmill pump designs. Pending field trials, we are hoping to have an almost maintenace free system allowing the user to all most setup and forget about the system. We are exploring applications in anticipation of positive results.
Buffalo Air Pumps are a reliable pumping systems for hunting cabins and remote cabin use. Owners have been looking for reliable pumps that will NOT let them down once they reach their remote locations. Even though no head pressure can be put on this pumping system, they can be used to pump to cisterns or holding tanks. The water pressure then can be achieved with natural head pressure if the water storage is above the water use height or a small transfer pump with pressure tank can be utilized. The water recovery utilizing air to operate the Buffalo Air Pumps and and a holding tank is also an effective system for off gassing sulphur and other undesirable gases. Lastly, if the wells are infrequently used, the pump can be used to clean out any sediment or organic build up prior to water recovery for storage.
We have now posted videos on YouTube of the Buffalo Air Pumps pumping 6/20 silica sand and Pea Geavel. In the videos we use two clear PVC tubues to show the deris being pumped utlizing 1 inch discharge piping on the 2 inch Buffalo Air pump. The links are below:

We are increasingly being approached from professionals in the field with ideas of products they have had to create for their own unique problems or have an idea for a new product. We welcome the opportunity to carry, manufacture or help individuals refine and produce their design. Please feel free to contact us if you have an idea you want to bring to market.
Groundwater Innovations is preparing to carry new and exciting products. We are looking to partner with existing businesses and carry some products for american inventors like myself. I am particularly excited to find a high quality American made windmill that will provide the air requirements (PSI & cfm) to pump water from wells or ponds. We will be posting details on this website soon and our new website to be launched for new and innovative wind products, AmericanWindInnovations.com.
Sediment removal seems to be an increasing problem. And what better to remove the sediment from wells than old world technology reinevented. Air lifts, particulary Buffalo Air Pumps, are the perfect tool for removing those solids. Other airlifts on the market rely on check valves, which can obstruct larger debris, and pressure regulators. Buffalo Air Pumps rely on thier simplicity and unique design to remove those sediments without clogging and malfuctions.
Anything. As we continue to market and deliver these pumps to more industries we are asked if the pump is capable of pumping this or that, will it apply to our problem. Our last request was concerning the sediment size the Buffalo air lift pump could evecuate from a water well. After further testing we have been able to remove Pea Gravel (rock) from test wells. Size is limited to discharge pipe diameter only. We are furnishing the 4 inch airlift pump for testing in Alaska to get real world test results on discharge size of sediments.
